ASW UNIT FINISHED IN JUST 4 HRS FOR RM980MIL

From the overwhelming response for ASW units to snap up in just 4 hours, many have queuing for hours but got nothing at the end, this show the people has lots of saving, in banking system as FD & other saving accounts earning almost Zero interest. They just got exited when ASW can offer 5%-6% rate of return.

ASW is only Good for those have excess fund, other than invested in stock, properties etc, they still have more fund that idle in banking accounts that can be used to invest in ASW that is save & earn higher returns than normal FD.

But this may not be 'Good Idea' for those who has limited saving, esp so if this investment is your only investment that you barely have.

A rate of returns of 6% will not help to to improve your personal finance, because it's real rate of returns is not enough for U to offset the increased cost of living. (the inflation may easily exceeded 5%)

If you have limited fund, the best investment that can really help U to improve your wealth is 'Investing In STOCK'

  • Earning 20-30% per year is not difficult in Stock if the investment sum is small.

  • What U need to do now is TO LEARN VALUE INVESTING, & EQUIP YOURSELF WITH MORE FQ.

  • SUGGEST U TO READ malaysiafinance.blogspot.com, & samgang.blogspot.com, as a starting point in learning Investing.

It's time to re-adjusting my shares portfolio, after 1 month of rally :-

  1. Take profits from my shares that accumulated before the rally in April. Get prepared for the correction after nearly 50% surge from bottom.
2. Reduce certain stock to balance my portfolio to comfortable % of my total investment.

Decoupe, 2nd liner from Blue Chips

Lets PARTYING, who care whether the World is in Doom & Groom !

The KLSE 2nd liner has decoupe from the Blue Chips/CI.

Blue Chips can not rise without the returns of Foreign Fund, whereas 2nd liner can continue its road to recovery, thanks to the liquidity in the market/system.( with or without Foreign Fund)

The following factors help the 2nd liner to outshine the Blue chips Boy:-

  1. The stock price has drop drastically in the past 8 months. Some even drop as must as 90% from it's top.

  2. The banking systems in Malaysia has lots of liquidity in the sideline looking to invest for better returns.

  3. Interest rate in banking system has fallen to very low level. And most likely to drop further.

  4. 2nd liner has small capital & easier to move the share price.

  5. Malaysian has not suffered serious loses in this latest crash, it's time to partying again. All syndicates are coming out now after months of inactivity's.

Off course we can join this Party to get some pocket money, But please remember to AVOID the following :-

  1. PN17

  2. -VE NTA

  3. ILLIQUID & LOW VOLUME COUNTER

  4. DO NOT CHASE HIGHER

  5. NO CONTRA PLAY

  6. DO NOT BORROW

  7. DON'T TOUCH THE STOCK THAT U DO NOT UNDERSTAND

WHY INVEST IN SHARES ? JUST AN ILLUSION ?

For small shareholders, why invest in shares ? Is shares value an illusion ?

(for retail investor) Try to imagine:-
  • U bought a shares at a certain price, what can U get from it if U hold it & never sell. (other than Dividend, if any)
  • Even IF the company earn millions, what can U get if it never distribute Dividend.
  • If no buyer to buy at higher price, U can't get good price to sell even it's a GREAT company
  • Is shares market just a money game ? Buyer chasing up price, Seller pushing down price.
  • It is just an illusion IF U don't sell at high & not buying at Low ! ?
OR

IT IS REAL 'INVESTING' ONLY WHEN THE COMPANY YOU BOUGHT IS GROWING IN EARNING & DO DISTRIBUTE DIVIDEND EVERY YEAR. & DIVIDEND GET GROWING TOO

State of emergency in Bangkok
BANGKOK, April 12 — The Thai Government has declared a state of emergency in capital Bangkok and five nearby provinces, in a move to contain the anti-government protesters who had stormed the venue of the 14th Asean Summit and related summits in Pattaya yesterday and forced its cancellation.
The under-siege prime minister Abhisit Vejjajiva made the announcement over national television and said that the order also included Samut Prakan where the Suvarnabhumi International Airport is situated, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Nakhon Pathom and Ayutthaya.
The airport was closed late last year for several days by anti-government protestors.
“The government wants to restore order and bring peace to the provinces,” said Abhisit, who had vowed to take drastic action against anti-government protestors whom he labelled ‘Public Enemy’ after forcing the cancellation of the summit.
He said his deputy, Suthep Thaugsuban, would take charge of enforcing the state of emergency with the assistance of the police and soldiers.
The announcement comes a day after Abhisit declared a state of emergency in Pattaya before revoking the order seven hours later, after all leaders from Asean and its dialogue partners left for home safely.
The situation in Bangkok became tense after police arrested a former popular singer and ex-lawmaker Arisamun Pongruengrong, an ally of ousted prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, today, for leading the protest in Pattaya.
The Red Shirt supporters rushed to the interior ministry where Abhisit was holding meeting with senior security officials.
Television reports said Abhisit left the place before they arrived, but several people were injured in a scuffle with security personnel, and several shots were fired.
The police and soldiers are expected to disperse about 2,000 anti-government protestors currently occupying all roads leading to the Government House since March 26.
The crowd, which swelled to over 100,000 on April 8, became thinner as most of them returned to celebrate the Songkran festival, starting tomorrow. — Bernama

Rally is Back ?

Its seem the Stock Rally is back, the market volume start to pick up again.

All Global stock market has show sign of bottoming up, but some fear it may not sustain as coming quarterly data may look ugly.

The USD is weakening as The Fed started to print note & ALL Govts inject Billions of money into the market, interest rate reduced to almost ZERO all over the world.

If someone is believe the stock has bottom & looking to invest in stock again,
  1. Commodity is the best bet. (search for quality commodity/oil counter)
  2. ICAP is consider attractive as the price has discounted 10% below it's NAV. (1.40 Vs 1.56)
  3. LionInd & LionDiv is cheap with potential high rewards if you still convince it will survive after this crisis.
  4. Parkson, the only stock that stiil benefiting from China growing economy. Wherelse other than China in the world if you looking for Growth.
